Kim Woo-min (Gangwon-do), Lee Joo-ho (Seogwipo City Hall) and Ji Yoo-chan (Daegu Metropolitan City Hall), who will compete at the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris, will take a mid-season check on their performance at the Australian Open Championships.

Kim Woo-min, Lee Joo-ho, and Ji Yoo-chan, who qualified for the Paris Olympics at the national management selection tournament in late March, were selected as special strategic development athletes for the Paris Games and left for Queensland, Australia, on March 1.

After two weeks of joint training with the Sunshine Coast University swimming team under the guidance of coach Michael Palperi, the trio will travel to the Gold Coast for the Australian Open Championships on Saturday.

The Australian Open Championships will be held Sept. 17-20.

Kim, who won gold in the men's 400m freestyle at the World Aquatics Championships in Doha in February, will compete in an "Olympic preview" against Elijah Winnington (AUS), 토토사이트 who finished second in the event in Doha, and Samuel Short (AUS), the 2023 World Championships champion in the event in Fukuoka.

Australia has yet to qualify for the Olympic trials, but Winnington and Short are likely to make the cut.

South Korea's strongest backstroker Lee Joo-ho will compete in all men's backstroke events (50m, 100m, 200m), while Ji Yoo-chan will swim the 50m and 100m men's freestyle and 50m butterfly.

"It will be a good opportunity for us to check our training performance on the 17th, the day before the D-100 in Paris," said coach Lee Jung-hoon, who has been in the country for the past two weeks.
